No-Booze November

So I started working on a pretty rad workout post today that hopefully I'll have up tomorrow... I'm pretty excited about it. In the meantime, though, I thought I'd stop by to say hello and tell you about my new November resolution.

I've been kinda sick and tired of the whole drinking thing for a while now, having gotten most of the initial excitement of it out in high school. Now it's like, "ok, I know what it feels like to be drunk... and who cares, it's not that fun." y'know? I don't really understand why so many in my age group are still so obsessed about it. It makes me feel so ashamed of my generation when I'm sitting in class and hear some girl bragging about how messed up she still was at 8 o clock in the morning. Ugh.

So basically, I don't really see the point of it as much anymore... I have fun with my friends when I'm sober and I can't justify doing something that not only makes me feel like shit for a whole day afterwards, but is absolutely terrible for me. Thus, I decided I'm going to try and go the month of November without drinking any alcohol and see how it makes me feel. I'm pretty sure the answer will be fantastic.

Anyways, here's to doing something good for my body :)

Love,
Em

  1. Good for you! Drinking is pretty pointless, in my opinion. Even after I turned 21 (before I got pregnant, ha) I only drank if something looked yummy while we were out to dinner and even then it was only one drink.
Once you get it out of your system, and realize how much better you feel without that nastiness, you're going to be so glad you decided to do this!
